Juneau's Own Urban Eskimo!

Business Overview

Welcome to the Urban Eskimo! We Love You!

We are glad you stopped in! This mini-site is just a temporary fix while we compile a new and improved full site. Our old site was getting a bit tired and I pulled it down. Unfortunately, I have not finished the rebuild yet but I am anticipating this being complete before tourist season 2015. So for now, this will have to suffice. What you have here is the web site for Juneau's most unique and friendly specialty store: The Urban Eskimo. We are located on historic Seward Street, in downtown Juneau. As always, we are still operating at 100 percent at our Seward Street location and are there SEVEN days a week to serve you! Guaranteed hours are 10am to 5pm through Saturday and maybe a bit shorter on Sunday. Call ahead to be sure! We look forward to your visit and are sure you will find that we have one of the nicest, most eclectic shops you'll ever visit! We have a large selection of small, mostly Alaska antiques with an occasional choice large piece thrown in. Our art focus is varied and will definitely be eclectic but if we like it, you likely will too! We occasionally even have rare coins, books and philatelic treasures! Like we said: Eclectic! Our Pendleton blanket selection is unequaled in Alaska with the state's largest selection including many limited edition blankets. We even occasionally take consignment items, broker the sales of select items and can also assist or perform estate sales. Our local number is 907-796-3626 and our NATIONWIDE toll free is 866-996-3626. Our address, both brick and mortar and mailing is 217 Seward Street, Juneau, Alaska 99801. Yes, we are lucky enough to be located in beautiful Juneau, Alaska! And this is the start of our TENTH year at the same location!
